Costume Design
The Pier’s costume designs pays homage and mics the costume design for Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo. The original costume was created by Hollywood legend costume designer Edith Head who’s works was also shown of films such as The Sting and Alfred Hitchcock’s To Catch a Thief.
Production
The Pier has been 5 years in the making written by Osamuede IYI-Eweka whose is also the Executive Producer on the. The film explores African American history and while also paying homage to cinema history and filmmaking. The film is a love letter to African American people and culture, and hopes to educate on the topics of the Middle Passage.
